The pandemic in recent years has made it inconvenient for us to travel, especially those with larger spans. This leads to the fact that we have to look at the beautiful scenery by looking at the images, and it is more difficult for people inland to see the sea in person. In addition, people living in areas such as the Desert Gobi, even if they are not affected by the epidemic, may never be able to go to the sea to see the sea because of their own transportation and economic reasons, and the living environment of these residents is already lacking in water and precipitation, and the sea is even more out of reach.

So we wondered if we could use some devices and means to carry similar scenes of the sea inland, so that people there could experience the feeling of being by the sea without having to travel long distances.

We conceived of such a building, which is mainly composed of light-transmitting irregular glass, supplemented by other materials. Glass introduces sunlight into the building, and then constantly reflects and refracts by various materials, traveling to the seabed like a light and shadow effect. When people enter it, they feel as if they are in the ocean. The shape of the ocean in the building will continue to change as the sun rises and sets, and every step of the person will make the materials on the ground change differently, resulting in different interactive water ripples. Although not in the ocean, but dived into the sea.
