Bright Floor

The project consists in bringing external sunlight into the interior of the metro stations using thick acrylic tubes, passing through an articulating wall separated a certain distance from the boundary wall of the enclosure. Through this gap, the light goes down and illuminates the floor of the station, generating a lower illumination along the entire perimeter and floor. At night, the tubes receive light from below to illuminate outdoor public space above.
