Early 2022, the war between Ukraine and Russia impacted the world stage. Thousands of civils had to move from his countries, meanwhile other people had to move their houses and routines “underground”. In this context, the project proposed a memorial for the victims of war through the light. The light is not only for illuminate the space. Daylight has the opportunity to transmit and transform the atmosphere, linking with our senses and feelings. The natural light is reflected and transmitted by acrylics (polymers), and by optical fibers that build the tree as a symbol of union, which illuminates the room underground. In addition, words in Ukrainian will be projected from the branches and perforated furniture by natural light, referring to peace and world support. People who visit the exposition would experience and meditate about the victims thanks to the light.
