General School Plan in S.Korea
Dark colors are classrooms, and light colors are the corridors. most of the yarn arrangements can be seen as corridors in the north and classrooms in the south. Since school arechitecture prefers to face south, it faces the playground where the classroom, which has a relatively ling time, is located south. This will lead to an imbalace in illumination among students sittng in the south and north.
The school, built in the 1960s, was designed with 60 students per class. in the 21c, the number of people per class decreased to 20. Lighting that used to be for the entire class is now the best condition to be lighting for individuals.
Wouldn’t it be possible to improve the imbalance of illumination and the light environment by giving syudents lights that move in various directions? what if you can adjust the environment to suit yourself by moving up, down, left and right instead of just turing it off and on?
What if you could play with it?
