Nightlife has become a part of the daily entertainment life of contemporary people. Whether in a big city or a small county, this all-night “city that never sleeps” that integrates entertainment, social interaction and catering has become a special local symbol. in local culture. The Datang City that never sleeps in Xi’an, with its long history and civilization and gorgeous lights, attracts countless tourists to come here and enjoy the joy brought by contemporary science and technology. However, it is obvious that a large amount of electricity load and the resulting environmental pollution and light pollution have become an urgent issue for urban managers to pay attention to. The project aims to use the existing technology and take Datang City as a research carrier to explore the feasibility of using artificial self-luminous stone that can store sunlight during the day and release the stored sunlight at night to replace traditional electroluminescent equipment in a large area. It is hoped that this can solve the pollution problem caused by the large power consumption of traditional entertainment venues at night, so that the city can be radiant at night while maintaining environmental sustainability.Regarding how to make self-luminous artificial stone that meets lighting requirements and is environmentally friendly and low-carbon, I found a patent on a preparation method of environmentally friendly artificial stone in a paper. The traditional method is inconvenient: you need to take out the stone from the mold during the curing and demolding process. Generally, the mold box needs to be inverted and beaten to take out the artificial stone from it, which is not only labor-intensive, but also easliy cause damange. As the defects of the current work flow in the curing and demoulding process, the invention patent provides the feasibility for the artificial environment-friendly self-luminous stone to extensively replace the traditional electric light-emitting equipment.

VELUX is the world’s largest manufacturer of special lighting windows dedicated to solving the natural lighting and ventilation of buildings, and its products are sold all over the world. Therefore, I tried to further combine Velux’s product “light pipe system. It uses ultra-high reflectivity to solve the sunlight transmission during the day when the sun is full power.At night it can only rely on other lighting to reflect optical light. Using the artificial self-luminous stone can reduce electricity pollution while transmitting the sunlight stored into the room at night. Therefore, the proposal solves the problem that luminous stone can only be used for outdoor lighting, and the light pipe system can only rely on other light sources for light transmission at night, and provids a low-carbon and environmentally friendly solution for public space.
