There are many island-shaped countries located in the subtropical region of the northern hemisphere and in the Pacific Ocean, and Taiwan is one of them. With the changing climate and environment, Taiwan and the world are vigorously promoting green energy transition with the common goal of reducing carbon emissions and sustainable development of the environment.

Taiwan’s land is limited, and there are many disadvantaged aquaculture fisheries in the southern part of the country. Therefore, the symbiosis of fishing and electricity in one place and two uses is promoted. Solar panels are erected in outdoor fishing farms, Not only can it absorb light and store it as green electricity, it can also help shield fish from overexposure.

Obtaining electricity through a relatively earth-friendly way of generating electricity .In addition to practicing sustainable development, it can also bring economic benefits to fishermen and villages. This cost-free and unlimited use is really a gift from light.

In response to the government’s goal of reaching 20% of the total power generation from renewable energy by 2025, the goal of solar photovoltaics is to reach 20GW.

As the name suggests, the water type solar photovoltaic device is installed on the water surface or the shore area. It is divided into three types: fixed column type, embankment type, and floating floating platform type.At the same time, compared with the terrestrial photovoltaic system, the water body also helps to cool the photovoltaic system to prolong its service life.At present, it is generally believed that the advantages of water-based solar photovoltaics are to reduce land use costs, reduce water evaporation in water bodies, and reduce water quality optimization.

Most of them are located in large sites such as reservoirs and lakes. However, for Taiwan, which has a limited area, it is currently difficult to develop a large-scale single site. There are many outdoor farmed fish farms in the southern coastal areas of Taiwan, and the annual sunshine in this area is as high as 2,100 hours.Try to set up solar panels to generate electricity in various outdoor fish farms. In addition to implementing environmentally friendly green electricity, it can also develop the tourism industry, such as setting up night trails and night fishing activities to improve the economic benefits of fishermen.Let the old and the weak have more room for development, and even attract young students to return to their hometowns.

Coupled with the RE100 (Renewable Energy) international renewable energy initiative, participating companies must publicly commit to 100% use of green electricity between 2020 and 2050, making green electricity even more sought-after.
