Overstimulation and constant exposure to stress are just a few of the many problems faced by humans in the modern world. The environment in which many of us live often does not allow us to get rid of these emotions and calm down. Inner light is a proposal of a nomadic form that can change it’s purpose depending on the user with the help of water and light. The form can be used as a chapel, a place for meditation, or just a place to calm down from overstimulation. The form, both with it’s structure and function, is supposed to lead to a state of a clear mind, even a trance. We wanted to create a space that uses such well-known elements as light and water. The main accent of the project is water, which acts as a guide, connecting the user with light. The visitor causes a reaction of colorful light and water with their hands. This creates a momentary and very individual experience, depending on the timbre of the voice and guiding your hands through the medium. We wanted to create a space that at a given moment gives an intimate relationship with the emotions and feelings of the recipient. When looking for solutions for our project, we tried to use the light in the simplest possible way, which is to additionally emphasize the experience inside. The main source of light in the project are optical fibers in different color variations, which are fixed in the formwork into their designated form and then poured with concrete. They are connected to the water basin, which has been painted with a reflecting emulsion that enhances the effect of light reflection. The water is introduced into the project through a gutter in the form of a cut. Water level is self- regulating through outflows.
