The proposal “LIGHT BONDS” located in Belen, seeks to respond to the lack of equipment and public space through the creation of an architectural lighting project that establishes habitable bonds and environmental control of natural light as a structural element. This project takes into consideration the traditional architecture of the Peruvian rainforest, the existing materials of the natural environment and the climate factors. It is through these parameters that a modular floodable system is proposed, composed as a whole by an urban grid that connects all the floodable part of the city and generates intermediate spaces of diverse features. These seek to boost the relationship and dynamics at the neighborhood and city level. The control of natural lighting plays a key role in the modular system since thanks to these elements of light and shade regulation, multifunctional diaphanous spaces are formed according to the time and the day.
