WuYuan Country, ranked as the most beautiful country in China, is famous for its Hui style architecture and water systems. In this country, people’s life is closed linked with the streams. However, as tourists flocking to there, the water get polluted, which has a severe impact on daily life and tourism. Bamboo is a kind of local plant, which is used to build shelves, weave hats and baskets. It can be used as structure material because of the good tensile and flexural stiffness. To solve the problem of water pollution, we combine bamboo and solar panels to purify polluted water as well as providing a seat for visitors. The solar panels transform sunlight into electricity to power the water purification equipment. During the day, flexible photovoltaic panels absorb solar energy, which is converted into electricity to purify the water. At night, hydrogen batteries release energy for villagers to cool off and rest. When the light is sufficient, the photovoltaic cell runs and supplies the electrolytic cell to produce hydrogen and the energy storage battery to charge. When the light is insufficient, the energy storage battery supplements the energy needed for hydrogen production. When the continuous cloudy and rainy weather occurs, the energy storage battery supplies power to the system alone.
