As the only country park withwetland characteristics inShanghai , nearly one third ofthe area of the base is covered by water.With Dalian Lake as the core,the park connects the surrounding wetlands,lakes,forests, fish ponds，farmland,rivers and folk houses,withlakes, beaches and islands crisscross.
