In the context of the global New Corona-virus epidemic, India is home to tens of millions of people infected with the New Corona-virus. One prominent place is Karnataka, where residents living in crowded slums do not have access to good lighting and sanitation, and where air disinfection and street lighting are major issues in the crowded and dirty lanes. …… And Lighting the Life Under Covid-19 project was conceived in this context. In this design, we sought to improve people’s lives through the use of ‘light’, the central theory of which is to filter out the ultraviolet light at a wavelength of 222 nm to disinfect the streets and to filter visible light to illuminate the streets. In this design we expect to see people brought closer together and to provide ideas for epidemic control in developing countries. Considering that the local population is not well off, environmentally friendly materials are used for storage and transformation. We hope that this design will draw global attention to the developing world in order to help and improve people’s lives.
