A Burr Puzzle-like art installation for water pollution treatment based on ecological conservation.The Chengdu Funan River is a major river and a heavily polluted one.Since ancient times, many actions have been taken by the government and local residents to remedy the water environment, but as pollutants floated and scattered all over the river, they have never been completely dealt with.Further scattered manual salvage methods are clearly not the best option. Could we use a more clever solution to centrally salvage and reuse the pollutants?Burr puzzle is a traditional Chinese toy, which is ‘difficult to disassemble and easy to assemble’ in nature, being a self-locking individual integrated by a modular unit.We use the principle to create devices in rivers that can be disassembled to salvage pollutants, combined to collect them and purify them through daylight.
