WASH facilities in Masaka, Ado, Uke, Keffin Sanu, Kugbaru and Koso communities are serving approximately 100,000 residents of six Karu communities. The beneficiaries were almost equally divided between men and women.Karu, Nigeria, 30 November 202 1 – Residents of six Nigerian communities are now beneficiaries of a UN-Habitat project to collect COVID-19 data and provide emergency water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), health and other urban planning intervention services.The team classified and screened different waters and formulated water quality standards. In the plan, a water circulation system is designed to take specific treatments for different waters to ensure the water safety of users.Thanks to the product design, the module can be reused more than 30 times, providing cost support for market promotion.
