The problem to be addressed is reducing the length of stay in hospitals in particular the day-wards. This will be addressed by the use of a reflective film that is placed by the sills of the existing windows as well as by the ceiling to bounce the light around the room. This gives more daylight into the space and allows for the patients to recover more swiftly.
