“Reflecting Souls” is a modular urban design framework highlighting the use of daylight to reflect the souls of people. The product is a modular system that comes together to create dynamic and organic public spaces. This is a project that could be implemented on any site anywhere to create a place for people in the area to learn about souls and their meaning, while also seeing them reflect on the very ground in front of them, creating an ‘urban carpet’. The modular system contains a product from Velux, the octagonal skylight, with just a few modifications that could be easily implemented and used all across the globe to inform people about daylight, the soul, and the organic adaptation of urban spaces.
