What is the end of the building? Is the answer just ruins?Where do historical buildings lost in time go?We try to explore a universal way to use it for historic ruin regeneration. At the same time, for different ruins, the space formed is also single.Peter Zumto said, “Something new does not stand on the side of the old, but grows out of the old and intertwines with it.” Therefore, we carry out the regeneration of the monastery from the three aspects of symbiosis of old and new, texture growth and narrative.Sunlight shines in between the old and new walls, and the different spaces give people different inner feelings. Sunlight can guide people forward, illuminate the ruins and create an atmosphere for people to meditate.
