This design aims to provide a relaxing and healing street environment for residents isolated in old residential areas during the COVID-19 epidemic. For this reason, we have designed a simple device, which uses plastic water bottles and small infrared solar lamps that are common in residents’ homes to decorate the streets, so that residents can relieve their anxiety when they go out for nucleic acids and look out at the outdoor environment at home.During the epidemic prevention and control period, the old streets in Shanghai are lacking in outdoor activity places with epidemic prevention conditions due to aging and defective lighting facilities, poor street greeningand landscape. The lack of sunlight for a long time and the dull and monotonous street scene will cause residents to be bored, anxious, and biological rhythm disorder.The design base is located in Shanghai, China, where production and life are gradually recovering.We choose the old streets near Zhoujiazui Roadand Zhoushan Road in Hongkou District for installation design. Many buildings here have a history of more than one hundred years, and the streets are narrow, so it is difficult to carry out large-scale demolition, construction and transformation. In order to leave a wide enough road for ambulances and supplies, we chose to place lamps between street lamps and telephone poles. Lamps far away from each other will reduce the gathering of residents and also remind the queue to keep distance when queuing for nucleic acid. In addition, due to the availability of materials, residents can also make their own at home and decorate the facade of the building.The design mainly serves the following groups: Isolate residents in need of stress relief and relaxation therapy at home.Doctors working long hours at nucleic acid testing sites,and cute baby.Residents who can interact with the device while making nucleic acid.
