We Chose a villa to show the importance and respect of daylight in architecture because we think that people feel closer to their environmental elements in their home. Due to the significance and beauty of the daylight, we decided to make it a beautiful element. As noted earlier, the villa is the main focus of this study which is located in the city of Kashan, Iran. In the history of Iran’s architecture, details and environmental elements have always been the main focus of attention and the use of art. also naturalskillfully and art-fully have led to the creation of a Complete collection. Therefore, we aim to provide you some theoretical principals of daylight on architecture. Light arrangement, improvement and filtration have always been the main focus in Iran’s architecture in a way which daylight’s nature has transformed and changed into a curve before it reaches the building or passes through the Surface. To talk about Mehrasa villa project, please note that this edifice is a Combination of beauty and Iran’s historic architecture in Safavi era, which includes today’s functions and necessities. We tried to provide all the spaces of Mehrasa villa with suitable natural daylight in a way which windows with high details were used and Colorful glasses were Put among the window’s internal details in order to make daylight colorful and make the spaces look more dynamic and interesting. Some Scientists believe that color and light are two key elements to make Space more Cheerful and prevent depression; Besides, colorful lights of windows made from four main color repels insects from the spaces which is the reason why colorful glasses have been used in architecture. From long ago, Iranians used to apply colorful glasses to construct sash and latticed windows for homes as well as religious and public places. Due to the high level of light and low variety of colors in deserts, colorful glasses were more common. The other advantage, among others, of reflexive glasses is not allowing outsiders to see the inside without limiting the amount of light coming in.Light and color are two key elements of the design and interior decoration. Architectural masterpieces remained from the past all validate this fact, though, it does not mean that those just belonged to the past and are not popular now. We equipped latticed door and windows with colorful glasses in Mehrasa Villa, which both protect from outer sunlight and heat, and they reflect a variety of colors that make the structure related designs more attractive. Also note that desert dwellers use color glasses for two purposes: beauty and scare reptiles. To match the filtered light with the space the only alternative was not to use interior materials so from the same color for windows and doors. We also used this design in hallways and some other surfaces, e.g. inside the entering hallways on northern and southern sides of the Villa in order to allow better filtered daylight inside the space without the filters being seen. This sort of light filtering provides the space with beauty and specialty for all Important spaces like harem, which is for welcoming visitors ,and trace which is for enjoying green seasons in which three_door and five-door entrances are used to use the daylight appropriately. Using artificial light source right behind the filter makes it not only useful during day, but also attractive at night. All over Mehrasa villa, hidden filters, windows and doors are used. They same design also used for hard lights in order to make harmony between color and light and above all, making the harmony using natural lights all over Mehrasa Villa.
