Currently South Africa faces a growing housing crisis forcing large portions of the population to create informal houses as their homes. This project seeks to solve the issues that arise from Light Sources, Heat Retention and Lack Of Airflow in the informal houses. Solutions that do not require electricity, as that proves to be a scarce commodity in South Africa currently. CONCEPT: My proposed Eco Air-Light, made of recycled plastic bottles, is designed to utilize the sunlight effectively in illuminating and cooling the tin homes.
