International VELUX Award (IVA) Service Terms & Conditions
Please read these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before taking part in the International VELUX Awards (“IVA”). IVA are is operated by Award Force platform (operated by Creative Force Ltd, 5 Majestic Court, St Mary’s Street, Mellieha, MLH 1337, Malta) and VELUX A/S, Ådalsvej 99, 2970 Hørsholm, Denmark (the “Service”). Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service. You warrant that you are at least 17-years-old and you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts. If you are under 17-years-old, you warrant that you have obtained consent from your parent or guardian and they agree to be bound by these Terms on your behalf. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.

Provided Information and Data Privacy
In order to participate in the IVA, you will have to sign up and provide certain information by entering the International VELUX Award registration site. You create a personal account and you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer; moreover, you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. VELUX A/S uses Award Force for this service. The personal data that you provide will or may include: your name, phone number, name of school, country.
Your data will be kept for 24 months in Award Force until the next edition of the award. The data will be shared with Award Force (operated by Creative Force Ltd), who is operating the website

By entering the International VELUX Award, you accept that the International Union of Architects (UIA) and the organiser, VELUX A/S, have the right and license to publish and disseminate the submitted projects, and other content in analogue and digital form, including all names of team members, teachers and schools. You agree that this license includes the right for VELUX A/S to make your projects and content publicly available on the International VELUX Award website for up to 3 years.

Any personal data that you provide will be processed solely in accordance with current data protection legislation from time to time and will be handled in accordance with VELUX A/S Privacy Policy and subject to your review and consent upon sign-up to participate in the IVA. . We urge you to read VELUX Privacy Policy from time to time as we update it continuously.

VELUX right to contact you
By consenting to participate in IVA, VELUX A/S must be able to contact you about IVA. The receipt of any other marketing material about VELUX A/S products, campaigns, events, etc. shall be subject to your separate express consent. If you sign up for marketing material, but no longer wish to receive it, please unsubscribe by sending an e-mail to IVA@velux.com or by following the instructions in the VELUX Privacy Policy.
