Light of Tomorrow by VELUX 2026 is open for registrations
Light of Tomorrow by VELUX is open for registrations for the 2026 award. From 01 September 2025, students and their teachers can sign up for the biggest global competition and award of its kind. The deadline for submitting daylight projects is 06 April 2026.

This year marks the 12th edition of the competition which has been running every second year since 2004, relaunched under a new name. With this competition and award, The VELUX Group challenges the students to explore the role of daylight in architecture and inspire new thinking by considering the role of daylight as an ever-relevant source of light, energy, well-being and joy.
