In the center of a lively city, there stands a remarkable cultural landmark, Sun Gleam “. Located in Alkhuwair costal line. The shape of the building was inspired by one of a Spanish sculptor artist (Arturo Berned) work. The employment of balance, light, mass, and emptiness is the main aspects of designing the structure.
By incorporating water ponds into the design, the aim is to create shimmering surfaces that reflect sunlight and imitate the gentle movement of ocean waves. These water features are strategically positioned within the outdoor environment to optimize sunlight reflection, enhancing the overall aesthetic and atmosphere. The dynamic interplays of light and shadow created by the water ponds not only add visual interest but also evoke a sense of tranquility and harmony with nature. Additionally, the placement of these ponds considers the natural topography and existing landscape elements to seamlessly integrate them into the surroundings. This thoughtful positioning encourages interaction with the water, inviting visitors to experience the calming effects of the reflections and gentle ripples. The design also considers the changing angles of sunlight throughout the day, ensuring that the ponds remain visually engaging through the day.
