ILLUMINATION

The new 4-story building in the immediate vicinity of the subway station is a meeting point for the residents from the surrounding city area.The design of the building was determined by the influence of daylight. The main feature is the light beam that shines through the center of the building to the street side, therefore expanding the atmospheric space. The open floor plan design makes it possible. In the front part of the building, a gallery extends up to the top floor. Therefore, the whole building is strongly illuminated on the inside. The building cubature steps down from north to south, so to speak, in order to allow the southern sun positions to have a better effect on the front part of the building. The placement of the courtyard resulted from the open area to the neighboring buildings.
