The building site is located on a building gap in the 16th district in Vienna, in a structurally highly condensed area between theJosefstädterstraße subway station and Brunnenmarkt. The “Lightning Venue” embodies a new urban development between these two striking“transit points”, a meeting place for all residents, and thus all social classes, of the neighborhood. Exactly this philosophy radiates the building tothe outside. Vertical beams of light run through an interplay of changeable spatial units and outdoor spaces.
