The Healing Field of Light

The project is located in Helsinki, a city with high latitude and lack of sunshine. Seasonal depression, also known as seasonal mood disorder, occurs at the same time every year there. According to modern medical research, the main cause of seasonal depression is that there is little sunshine in winter, and the human body’s biological clock does not adapt to the change of shortened sunshine time, resulting in physiological rhythm disorder, endocrine disorder, and emotional and mental disorder. We hope to use light as the medium of space to create a healing field generated by sunlight, so that people here can feel the passing and alternation of seasons and time, deal with the loneliness of darkness, and cherish the sunshine every moment.
