As the world’s elderly population continues to grow, the health of older people is becoming more and more important. Light healing plays an important role in the psychological health of the elderly. Therefore, this design is based on the psychological health of the elderly and is designed to include a light environment system that includes three space:rehabilitation space, mood space and meditation space The light environment system can be directly inserted into the elderly building to take care of the psychological health of the elderly.1.Rehabilitation spaceThe facade material uses rotatable unidirectional light-feeding glass, which is repeated in individual modules to generate the spatial facade and can be adjusted manually or electrically. The motorised part of the facade is adjusted by the staff according to the external light conditions, producing suitable light conditions for the different activity areas; the manual part is for the elderly to interact with, the glass can be changed by the touch of the elderly, creating dappled light and shadow, both for physical exercise and interaction with the building itself.2.Mood SpaceStudies have shown that green, red and blue help to heal the emotions of the elderly. The colourful mood gallery is made up of translucent glass in gradual colours, with daylight streaming in to create a colourful glow. 3.Meditation SpaceThe meditation space has a high height, with a vaulted ceiling and a number of other openings around the main central cavity that cast small patches of light, making for a tranquil and gentle.
